OrthoTunisia is a fully exporting company, specializing in the manufacturing of orthopedic products created since 2001 and employs more than 600 people always keen with designing and developing, OrthoTunisia continues to climb the ranks by constantly investing in the technologies that have made it possible to start the integration process which is among the most important strategic choices and strengths that make OrthoTunisia among the leaders in the African market and the Mediterranean basin.

Our company history

2001: ORTHO-TUNSIA HAS BEEN CREATED

a fully exporting company, specializing in the manufacturing of orthopedic products

2005: THE BEGINNING OF THE INTEGRATION PROCESS

Always keen to design and develop, in 2005 a laminating unit was installed which serves to assemble different materials to create the base material complex for orthotics, which allowed the integration process to begin

2007 - 2008: OEKO-TEX AND ISO-9001 CERTIFICATIONS

To ensure regularity and continuous quality monitoring in favor of its customers Ortho-Tunisia has had the Oeko-Tex certificate since 2007 which covers the international system of control and certification on harmful substances in textiles and got ISO-9001 certificate since 2008 which is the definition of requirements implementation of a quality management system in order to continuously improve customer satisfaction as well as ensure compliant products and services.

2009: CIRCULAR KNITTING UNIT

The integration process did not stop growing, and continued in 2009 with the installation of a circular knitting unit

2013: DYEING UNIT

Continuing to expand and to invest, in 2013 a dyeing unit was installed in order to better meet market requirements as well as to centralize the integration of the different steps of production of our items.

2016 - 2017: FLAT KNITTING UNIT - ASQUAL ACCREDITATION

In 2016 a flat knitting unit was installed to continue in 2017 with the ASQUAL accreditation for the products of this unit which constitutes in the recognition of the ability to carry out its activity according to the rules internationally accepted.

2018: Iso 13485-2016

To specialize even more, Ortho-Tunisia has obtained the ISO 13485-2016 certificate in 2018 requirements relating to the quality management system specific to the medical devices sector, which means that the company demonstrates its ability to regularly supply medical devices and associated services in accordance with regulatory requirements as well as those of customers

2020: MEDICAL MASK MANUFACTURING UNIT

In answer to the pandemic, orthotunisia installed a unity for medical mask manufacturing in order to further expand the diversity of its products and its range of medical devices by touching single-use DMs.
